All HFCU branches, drive-thrus, and HFCUVT Video Branch are closed today, Thursday, November 28, for Thanksgiving.
Our call center, eBranch and M.A.R.S are available 24/7.
ITM is short for "Interactive Teller Machine." This innovative technology allows a member to conduct most transactions at the machine without a needing to wait in line to speak to a Member Service Representative. ITMs offer additional capabilities over a traditional ATM, such as the ability to make a loan payment or choose the type of bills you’d like to withdraw.
There are several benefits for our members!
Using an ITM is the same as visiting the teller window. There are no additional fees for members. Non-members can use an ITM like an ATM and will be charged a $2.50 transaction fee and may see a fee from their institution as well.
ITM transactions take less time than transacting in-branch with a Member Service Representative.

*An ITM will automatically place holds on any check amounts exceeding $500.00. For a check(s) over that amount, an ITM will automatically release the first $500.00 of funds, place the next $5,025.00 on a 2-business day hold, and the remainder will then typically be available after 7 business days. There is a $25,000 and 50 check deposit limit at the ITM. Any amount above $25,000 or 50 items will need to be processed with an in-branch employee. |
The ITMs will dispense one-dollar bills, ten-dollar bills, twenty-dollar bills, and fifty-dollar bills. Depending upon the amount you are withdrawing, you will be able to request your bill mix. You can withdraw up to $5,000 from your available balance.
The ITM will not accept or process coins, similar to an ATM.
The ITM will not dispense coins. When you cash a check, the ITM will treat the transaction as a deposit and a withdrawal. You will be asked which share you want to utilize for the transaction and the change will be deposited to that share.
When you’re ready to begin your transaction, simply touch the screen or insert your debit card. You can then conduct transactions just like you would at any other ATM.
Advanced ITM functionality is available on our drive-thru ITMs from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM EST Monday through Friday. Outside of those hours, ITMs provide ATM services only. Our in-branch ITMs are accessible during regular branch hours.
We previously allowed account access at our West St. and Allen St. ITMs via an account number or social security number. However, this practice left your account more susceptible to unauthorized access. Because the security of your account is a top priority, we now require an HFCU debit card and PIN in order to use any HFCU ITM as of October, 2024.
