President's Message, Summer 2023
As I write this newsletter article, it is with mixed emotions that I share with all of you that 2023 will be my last full year at the helm of Heritage Family Credit Union. After a wonderful 30-year career at HFCU, I will officially retire in early 2024.

Remembering Jody Garrow
On June 21, we dedicated our contact center in memory of Jody Garrow, a Heritage Family Credit Union employee who passed away unexpectedly in April. Members of Jody’s family joined the HFCU staff for the dedication, and a plaque with Jody’s smiling face now welcomes HFCU colleagues to work each day.

2023 Scholarship Recipients
This year, HFCU awarded five $2,000 scholarships to deserving high school seniors pursuing further education in an accredited undergraduate program at a college, trade school, or university.

Heritage Family Credit Union is working to help protect your information by keeping your documents securely in one place, while helping to go green at the same time! In the near future, all active users of eBranch online banking will be prompted to review an updated user disclosure at login.

Member-to-Member Accounts
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve security and protect our members, beginning Aug. 1 if you are seeking to make a deposit to another member’s account or make a loan payment on someone else’s behalf, HFCU will require you to provide the correct account number for that account.
